Monki Favourites Right Now

Hi there! Since I really love Monki clothes, even before there was a store in the Netherlands, I decided to make a collage of my favourites right now. I especially love the seventies-style flapper hat. Makes me think of Hippies, yeah! Love, Lisa

JACQUELINE GOVAERT #01

As you know, I'm a huge fan of Dutch singer Jacqueline Govaert. Her voice, songs, performance: I love it all. First, she was the lead-singer of Krezip, but Krezip broke up a-year-and-a-half ago, and now she's solo. I went with a good friend to her solo-concert (the 7th of October), and it was absolutely AWESOME. Seriously, she's the best.

Give me some..

Hey chicks! How was your day? Mine went pretty good! I went to a friend of me, (J. He's also in the band) and we maked some music. Today we focused on covers, so we did (Just vocals and acoustic guitar) a few. Also 'Everyday I work on the road' by Dutch band Voicst. So bad they broke up! I thought it was really fun!

And what I also did: Looking for some nice new clothes on the world wide web. I found these pieces.

Don't know what's happening

Hey lovers! I actually don't know what's happening to me, but I think I'm in love with Minnetonka's. I always said I don't like them, but since I've seen so many photo's of well-dressed girls, I fell more and more attracted to them. Especially when I saw this pair @ Felicia's Frithiof blog. She wears them with a kind of flair I haven't seen before. Maybe I should search for a cheaper fake pair, because they'll cost around €100! What do you think?

Some great tunes

Hey! I thought it would be nice to show you some of my favorite songs at the moment. Not just-in, but I like them a lot. I heard the first one a few months ago, a friend of me recommend it. I heard the second one on a small festival last summer. It's a cover from a dutch band which I really like: Destine. I'm not a huge fan of the original song, but I think this cover is just awesome. Enjoyyy!

A few days ago I took a look at my mailbox (What do you mean, exciting :p), and I got a newsletter of my favourite singer EVER, Jacqueline Govaert. I found out there was made a few video's 'around the making of' of her first solo-album. I checked the first video, (AWESOME, She's getting even more awesome by every tweet, letter, etc), and found out, that I saw myself at the last shot! The girl with the small camera, on the right side, near the stage. Curious if you'll find me ;)

My gosh, it's actually snowing!

Hi chicks! Ohmy, it's só extremely cold in here! It's freezing and when you take a look out of the window, it's white all over! Kinda sick, but sort of like it! (Wondering for how long time).
