A-A-Alphabeat

All right, I've to admit I fell in love with Alphabeat again. Not their second album (The Spell is soo annoying, in my opinion), but their first. I bought their CD in 2008, and when I decided to clean my room (well, it wasn't actually my decission: my mum told me I wasn't about to go anywhere if I wouldn't clean it immediately...). However, I put the CD on again, and their songs were totally suiting my vibe on that moment (eighties dance). So that's the reason why I'd like to share these songs, "fantastic 6" and "What is happening". Don't think these are the best song ever, but somehow I like them :)

Music should be the answer

Hey there! I thought it would be fun to share some music with you guys. This is what I'm listening to at the moment. Anyway, Besides the act with the band on the talent show of our school, I'll also play with a few friends some act with rythm-related stuff.  Guess I'm not able to describe it any clearer than this.. Sorry! But I'm looking forward to it, that's for sure<3

Lazy Sunday

Hi there! I'm almost off to upstairs (gotta clean my room..), but before I go I want to share these songs. The first one is Message In A Bottle from The Police. Well, I love that song, it always makes me smile =). The second one is 'Lippy Kids' from Elbow. I guess I agree with a comment I found on Youtube: "This is what Coldplay wish they could be" (I do like Coldplay, but like 'a bit'). Enjoy!

For now, it's a 'maybe', but there'll be a change that I'll go to the concert of Noah and the Whale on the 6th of April... Just have to find out who else is going. I wanted to share this song, because it makes me feel so happy. And I know everyone has an off-day sometimes, so please take my advise: Listen to L.I.F.E.G.O.E.S.O.N.! It will help you, even though it's a little little little bit :).

Killer Bee

Woa, I réally like the new track of Anouk, "Killer Bee". Especially the guitarriffs are quite cool =). The release of it is actually TODAY (one hour ago, so you might say this is a new song :)). Enjoy this musi!c (and your meal, since it's dinner time in the Netherlands ;D).

In tension

Well, I have to confess that I know this song now for 10 minutes. But it's such a great song so I felt some kind of required to share it with you guys. Now you might be a little curious, so I won't hold you any longer in tension: It's "Lust For Life" from Girls. Enjoy! How was your week anyway? I can't believe it, but I finally got some free time! Viva la Vacation =).

Since I really like this song, I want to share it with you guys! It's called ' Virtual Reality' by Monks Avenue. I did not knew this band before, but when I checked my twitter today, I found out the tweet from De Wereld Draait Door (A Dutch news program) that tonight's music will be performed by them. I checked them on youtube and they appealed to me very nicely. For all the Dutch girls: Toninght at 19:30, Ned3. Enjoy!

The VOICST of Holland

Hey there! Wanted to share two videos of a (Dutch) band I really like: Voicst. I know, both of the vids are already two years old (time flies!), but I like them very much! The first one (Feel like a rocket) is nice, the second (Everyday I work on the road) is a little more special to me, since I sang this song with the band on our very first performence :). Love itt <33

Just a bit

I'm a fanatic OOR-magazine reader (Thanks a lot, people who desicovered the LIBRARY!). It's about music, music and music, and sometimes you'll find an interesting interview with a band you don't recognize. For me, that was 'Mumford and Sons'. And now, I realized that their debut song 'Litlle Lion Man' makes me feel really happy. Hope you'll like this one!

Some great tunes

Hey! I thought it would be nice to show you some of my favorite songs at the moment. Not just-in, but I like them a lot. I heard the first one a few months ago, a friend of me recommend it. I heard the second one on a small festival last summer. It's a cover from a dutch band which I really like: Destine. I'm not a huge fan of the original song, but I think this cover is just awesome. A few days ago I took a look at my mailbox (What do you mean, exciting :p), and I got a newsletter of my favourite singer EVER, Jacqueline Govaert. I found out there was made a few video's 'around the making of' of her first solo-album. I checked the first video, (AWESOME, She's getting even more awesome by every tweet, letter, etc), and found out, that I saw myself at the last shot! The girl with the small camera, on the right side, near the stage. Curious if you'll find me ;)
